No7 Stay Perfect Foundation Review

Hello everyone! I am so sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I was out of town on spring break and the homework has been piling up. BUT thankfully now I am back home and caught up! Today I want to talk to you guys about one of my new favorite foundations from the brand No7. I found this brand at my local drugstore, and I think they recently became available in Ulta as well. They have both make up and skincare products, and are on the more high end drugstore side when it comes to pricing. If you would like to hear the details of this foundation and what I think of it, then read below!

Pros:

  • Medium coverage
  • Natural
  • Wide shade range
  • Contains SPF
  • Up to 17 hour wear
  • Has a pump

Cons:

  • No really fair shades
  • A little expensive for drugstore
  • May not be good for oily skin

DETAILS:

I purchased this foundation for $15.99 USD, which is a little pricey for drugstore but if you are used to buying items from Sephora then this is cheap! I love how it has a pump so it is super easy to control the amount of product it dispenses and is more hygienic. It has a thicker consistency, so I like to use a dense brush to apply it, such as the Morphe M439. Let me say that this foundation is amazing for dry skin! When I put this on my face it literally feels just like a moisturizer. It is super lightweight and gives a really nice dewy glow, while also evening my skintone and covering my red blemishes. My skin looks so hydrated and healthy. It also contains SPF 15, which honestly isn’t very much but it is better than nothing! I do not find any flashback from the spf in this foundation when taking pictures. I have worn it all day long and the glowy look did fade a bit to a more soft-matte, but the coverage stayed.

There are 16 shades available, and I own the lightest one called Calico. For some reason this shade is only available in the store and is not listed online. I am definitely not the fairest girl out there, and this shade is a tiny bit too dark for my neck. Many girls with extremely fair skin won’t be able to use this foundation which is unfortunate since there are so many shades available. If you are oily, you may not like how this foundation gives you a shine. Maybe a mattifying primer or powder will make it less dewy!

Overall I am loving this foundation. Since it is a tiny bit dark, I usually mix it with my Sephora 10 Hour Wear foundation to lighten it up. But for the purpose of this review I only used the No7 foundation! I am sure once I get a bit of a tan this will match perfectly on its own and the spf will be great for summer.

I hope you enjoyed this review, thanks for reading and don’t forget to follow!

  2. I’ve used their products before and found that they work really well. The foundation offers great coverage, doesn’t it? I foundation a lot in the colder months to even out my skin when it’s dry.

  3. I really like the coverage, and I cannot tell your are wearing any foundation at all. I’m extremely fair skinned as well but my tint is a tad on the yellowish side. I’m glad there are 16 shades to try to match up with.
