Ulta Haul!

Hello everyone! I hope all of you who live in the United States had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have been so busy with end of the semester projects and essays I haven’t had time to post. Last month was my birthday and when you are an Ulta Rewards member they give you $10 USD off your purchase and a birthday gift so I had to go pick up some stuff! Some products I repurchased while others I am just now trying. Let me know if you have tried any of these and what you thought! Enjoy!

Soap & Glory Love At First Blush ($15.00): I had never tried this brand before and when I saw their set up at Ulta I really wanted to try something! This blush is like a color wheel with different shades of pink/mauve/white that has a bit of shimmer and I have been loving applying it on top of a matte blush.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strip in ‘Natural Nude’ ($13.99): I love Physicians Formula’s Butter Bronzer and I really wanted to try more products from them. I have been looking at the Bobby Brown Shimmer Bricks but those are SO expensive and when I saw this I thought it would be perfect to try! There are all sorts of shades ranging from white/light pink to dark brown. Perfect for highlight, blush, or a shimmer bronzer if desired.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser ($8.99): I have seen so many youtubers rave about this product but after using it a few times I am not sure if I like it. I have a hard time blending it and I feel it just looks like it sits on top of my skin. I may try applying it different ways but so far it is a disappointment.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara ($8.99): This has been my number one mascara for a couple years now. I wear glasses so I don’t want my lashes to be too long or else they’ll hit my lenses but I also want them to look full, thick and black. This mascara does the job perfectly!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in ‘London’ and ‘Stockholm’ ($5.99): I have had both of these shades and they were running low and drying out so I purchased some new ones. London is a warm brown and Stockholm is like a beige pink. I love the formula of these they are so creamy, pigmented, and easy to apply! I would highly recommend these in any shade.

Urban Decay Single Shadow in ‘Midnight Cowboy’ ($19.00): This was my free birthday gift from Ulta, a FULL SIZE eyeshadow! It’s a really nice champagne shimmer shade that’s super pigmented and perfect for all over the lid or inner corner highlight.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge ($6.99): This is not pictured because I already threw it away. I decided to try this one more time after having it a year ago and not being a fan, and still I do not like it. It doesn’t blend my make up very well and it also doesn’t have a round end which I like on my sponges. I know so many people love this sponge so it was disappointing that it didn’t work for me.

  1. Love the Phisisians formula shimmer palette. And the RT sponge works good for me I damp it into water and then work good in face πŸ™‚ I make circular motions and not swiping only pressing foundation into skin. And my Age Rewind is holy grail for everyday use. Check out my reviews on these products on my chanell. I love your post because you are honest. And I also say if something doesn’t work for me it doesn’t mean that won’t work for someone else πŸ™‚
